Autrey has wanted to have a small garden for a few years. Now that we actually have a yard, his dream of urban farming is becoming a reality. We bought a tomato plant and some seed packets: big tomato and cherry tomato, cucumber, green bean, and okra. First order of business was to use our neighbor's old bricks to build a retaining wall for our 'farm'. Autrey is going to use the extra bricks in the front yard. Now he is working with the soil to weed it and get it ready to put more dirt on top of it. He has a cute little helper, who loves the gloves and dirt:
Hoping for a successful harvest! Or to at least not kill everything.
