We're FINALLY going to have another Baby!!!

On May 18, I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant with baby #3!  A little cruel to be pregnant on Mother's Day and not know it, but I'll definitely take it.  After 2.5 years of trying, waiting, getting my hopes up, numerous failed tests, watching others around me have babies, a year of fertility drugs, countless doctor's visits/blood draws/testing, a new fertility specialist, surgery, A LOT of forced public smiles and private tears and prayers...we finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I'm so excited to get off this emotional roller coaster ride, that's all I have to say!  (Autrey's just happy I will NEVER be on fertility drugs again.  Totally made me so sick, and a ball of crazy. I'll own to that.)  I made spaghetti and baby carrots for dinner and got out this onesie I bought a year ago to let Autrey know the good news:
My dear friend, Danielle Bakic, took these pictures last week to share the news after I hit 12 weeks and felt comfortable enough to share the news publicly.  I love how they turned out:

Can't wait to meet this little one in January!

Week in New Mexico

We had a lot of fun at Nana's in Ruidoso the week of 4th of July!  Over half of the extended family was hit by the stomach bug plague during part of the trip, starting with little Sam, but we still managed to do a lot of things each day with whoever was well at the time.

The boys liked the bear at the rental house:
The patriotic cousins:
 We celebrated Autrey's birthday:

 4th of July kiddos:
 Sam was still sick...
Digging for gold on Nana's hill:

Joe and Maggie LOVED the kitties at Nana's:
The kids played a lot of baseball:

Happy Independence Day!

4th of July Rodeo in Capitan with Mimi.  Hayley stayed home with Allyson because it would have been late.  Baby girl ended up getting sick that night anyway. Poor Danny did too:
Kids chasing the calves for money.  I couldn't get all the kids in one shot.  They scattered too fast:

They played on the big field.  Real big time:
They walked the river and floated boats Autrey made them.  Maggie swam up to her neck in the freezing water with a smile on her face.  Girl has ice in her veins:
Autrey and Jared took the kids on an overnight campout.  They, of course, painted their faces like Indians.  Jared came home the next morning sick as a dog, the next Domino to fall.  Too bad it was also his birthday:

 Hanging with Nana and Mimi:

  Cute cousins:

 Silly faces:

The girls:
The 1st time we went to ride horses there was no availability.  But they looked cute anyway:

We went to Fun Trackers and played mini-golf and go-kart raced instead:

I can make any car go fast...

Joe and I were feeling better but, sadly, Maggie and Tyler were still pretty sick when we actually got to ride horses.  The crew that went had a great time:

The super line, from my perspective in the back with Autrey:

Colt on Turbo:
 Dylan on Oreo:
Joe on Lightning McQueen:
Tommy on Frosty...love the hat wave:

 Lori on Kalua:
Danny and Sam on Duke...a former bucking bronco at rodeos:

 Shilo (Me) on Kelly:

 Autrey on Petunia:
We drove to Carlsbad Caverns and spent the day exploring the AMAZING underground caves, home to hundreds of thousands of bats.  We watched the Bat Flight show that night and saw the bat tornado as they flew out of the cave and into the sky to hunt insects.  Dylan got pooped on, a badge of honor:

I never could get a picture of Matt and Allyson's family because Allyson got sick almost immediately while going down to explore.  Truly an awful place to get sick and have to RUN out in the dark:

Good memories with all the extended family!
