Maternity Pictures

My sweet friend, Danielle Bakic, took these maternity pictures for me Dec 10 when I was 33.5 weeks along.  I wasn't feeling well and it hurt my leg to stand, it was really cold that day, and Dylan got a bloody nose and bled on his jacket...so the entire shoot only lasted 12 minutes.  A comedy of errors, for sure.  Glad she was able to get some good ones! Also, I love this dress!

Christmas Events

All the Duke girls went and got Christmas mani/pedis while everyone was together over Thanksgiving break.  I was extremely appreciative, as I still had the remainder of my orange toes from Red Head Ali's wedding in August and it's not comfortable to paint my toes anymore:

You can't even tell that I'm pregnant or in a wheelchair in this picture.  Score!

My reindeer went on a 1 mile romp this morning. It was really cold and it took them 21:20 to complete.  But despite that, I hate being sidelined for events like this.  I'll be ready to join them again next year!

Dylan drew this Salt Lake Temple Lego picture for G-ma and G-pa.  Interesting take on the spires:
Dylan drew this picture for Aunt Elaine, as a thank you for sewing my Princess Leia costume.  He used yellow and orange because otherwise "the white wouldn't show up." (RIP Carrie Fisher, as of last week.)

Our poor nativity had a rough 2 years on the mantle.  I put it up there so the kids wouldn't break it, but it was the adults that ended up doing it instead because it is too tall and blocks the remote sensor on the tv.  Last year I broke Joseph and moved the shepherd over to fill in.  Don't judge me.  This year Doug knocked the head off the replacement shepherd, as seen here with the Lego head.  Even though it was blasphemous to begin with and I told him not to worry about it, Doug felt bad and got us another nativity set:

I also gave them their Avengers Halloween costumes as a gift.  They love to dress up:
My graham cracker gingerbread house idea was kind of a bust because cinnamon roll frosting isn't stiff enough to hold the crackers in place, but the boys were good sports about it:

Probably my favorite part of Christmas this year was listening to the boys sing Christmas songs.  Here are two of my favorites...
