Maggie's Baptism and Nana's 90th Birthday Trips

On Columbus Day weekend we flew to Seattle to be with Maggie for her birthday and baptism weekend.  We got there REALLY late Friday night and met up with them Saturday morning at Maggie's soccer game.
We played at the park between Maggie and Joey's games.  Sweet Sam:

Joe still takes his fun seriously:

Mimi and Papa with all the grandkids after Maggie's baptism.  The boys looked so adorable singing "When I Am Baptized" in their matching shirts.  (It is now referred to as Maggie's song since we practiced it a lot during the weeks before her baptism.):
 Baby Hayley:

Oldest and youngest grandkids; the bread on the Duke boy sandwich we have going:

 Playing a game with Mimi:
 Leap Frog:
 Watching UP!:
Birthday dinner at Maggie's favorite Thai restaurant and then cupcakes:

Climbing the tree with Uncle Autrey on our walk:

Riding back.  This lasted for a few seconds:

Maggie was so excited to match Hayley:

The next weekend we flew to El Paso and drove to Nana's house to surprise her for her 90th birthday.  Another past midnight arrival Friday night and the kids waking up early Saturday morning.  Sheesh.  But we love to be with Nana!
 With some of her great-grandkids:
We made these hand print cards for her.  In my head they were supposed to look like chocolate cakes with candles on top:
 Storm Trooper crew:
 Hiking to find Blue Lake:

This is all that was left of said lake.  More like a giant puddle:
 Cute Jared and Alyssa:
We had to stop at Blake's for a green chili cheeseburger in Alamogordo before flying home.  Turns out they have good brownies too:
Whew.  So glad we went to be with family on these whirlwind trips.  And so glad we were home this weekend.
