G-pa and G-ma Visit Us!

That big snow storm we had?  Very fun, but it made getting G-pa and G-ma here pretty tough.  Their flight got cancelled Friday night and delayed Saturday night.  After they landed the plane had to taxi for 1.5 hours because of all the ice.  I'm just happy they made it because this trip counted as Thanksgiving and Christmas for the Miller side.  Hopefully I will get to see Kristen, Meagan, Desiree', Atim, the Millers, and the Holdaways soon.  I miss them all so much.

Colton walking around with Autrey's boots on:

Our Christmas card. (I played Donna, secretary from the show Suits, and helped mom and dad make theirs while they were here.  It's really cute, but I won't spoil it.):
Video of Colton loving when Autrey crashes his airplane:
We found a great deal online for this electric police car.  That gift represents just about all of the boys' Christmas from us.  Video of Dylan seeing it with our elf, Tony Chestnut, inside:
It has working lights, sounds, an intercom, and goes in reverse:
 ...even in the icy snow:
 The Hechts joined the fun:
G-pa and G-ma with the newly deputized officers:
Mom went to Carra's to get her hair done.  I definitely want to look like my mom someday.  I wouldn't mind if that day came sooner rather than later:

 G-ma and Colton:
I didn't take any pictures, but we had so much fun getting out our cabin fever energy at Let's Jump and at Play to Learn.  Tony Chestnut heard about G-ma's famous cinnamon rolls and got out all the dry ingredients for us to get right to work in the morning:

We went to the library for story time and then to the cookie decorating activity they had.  Then we went to Charming Charlie's on the way home, of course:

 Buddy the Elf was there:
 Relaxing with G-pa:
Tony helped Dylan write a birthday card.  Dylan traced it in highlighter the next morning:
 In Christmas jammies:
We saw the Christmas lights in Grapevine:

Dylan giving G-pa his birthday card.  Dylan has a lot of growing to do to catch G-pa:
Shout out to G-pa: Over the past 3 years he has lost 90 lbs with eating right and exercising, 60 of them in the last year.  A regular skinny-minny.  His sugars, cholesterol, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, and neuropathy are under control, but now he is having trouble breathing with what is most likely severe COPD.  Between that and the cold weather, which makes it worse, we opted to stay indoors and pass on things like the Stockyards this trip.  I am praying the doctors can help him so he can have more energy again:
 Monkey see, monkey do:

We went to Cabela's and waited 2 hours to see Santa and Mrs. Clause.  Totally worth it:

At least they had comfy camo chairs to wait in:
'Driving' the tractor on the way out to the car:

Notes and paper airplane right before G-pa and G-ma left to go back to the airport:
He only started tracing letters a week or so ago.  Fine motor skills have never been his strong suit so I am pleasantly surprised how good he is doing and how much he likes it:

After we dropped mom and dad off at the airport Autrey and I went to his work party.  His boss, Ted, dressed up as Santa.  Does that make Aut one of his elves?
I love when my parents get to come visit.  It is so much fun to be around them and watch them play with the boys (when Dylan isn't putting G-pa in time-out for teasing him, that is).  Love you, G-pa and G-ma!
