End of Summer and Preschool Update

Rogan Goold's 2nd birthday party, construction/dirt themed:

Note to self: Don't interrupt this kid while eating pudding:
We took Matt and Allyson's family with us to Hawaiian Falls for Friday Night Slides using our buddy passes.  The boys loved the golf cart tram:

Twinkies.  We were there to play volleyball, but there were some basketballs to play with too:
This was a few minutes before Colton fell on the ball and scraped a layer (or two) of skin off his nose on the scratchy brown wall in the back corner.  Our cue to exit stage left.  This kid gets war wounds all the time:
Dylan started Let's Learn! preschool with Ms. Tiffany Hymas.  (He also started weekly Let's Play Music piano lessons with Ms. Kaytie Brown, but I forgot to take pictures with her.)  Dylan was so excited to go to school and have a Dusty Crophopper lunch box from the movie Planes:

We love Ms. Tiffany!  She was the Primary President in our ward until she got switched to be the Relief Society President.  She is amazing!
Colton lost his mind when we dropped Dylan off.  He wanted to stay too, clearly.  I rocked him as he cried himself to sleep, hours before he usually naps.  It's gotten better since then, but he asks, "Time to go pick up Dylan?" during Tuesday and Thursday mornings:
At pick up, after day 1 was in the books:

Brindee's little boy, Koen, is one of the 6 kids in the class:
Cute buddies:
Pictures of his memory collage:
Favorite food: Applesauce
When he grow up he wants to be: A Police Officer
Favorite Color: Blue
Favorite Sport: Baseball (naturally)
Favorite Subject: Reading
Best Friend: Tommy (cousins are the best!)

Speaking of war wounds...slipped on the soapy bubbles getting out of the tub.  Bled for quite a while:

Batman duo reading before bed:

And "mowing the grass" the next morning with daddy:
I told Autrey I wanted a plain bookshelf to replace one that was too small and falling apart.  So he made a train bookshelf the boys LOVE.  Father of the Year:

He dotes on our boys.  Makes me love him even more.  Made my woodworking dad proud too:
We went to Altitude Trampoline Park this week with our ward playgroup while Dylan was at preschool.  Colton needed some good mommy time.  I built block towers for Colton to knock over as he dove into the block pit.  Cute videos:

Didn't quite make it:
What?!? No marathon update?  Nope.  I wasn't as good about writing things down this month with everything going on.  But all is well!

  1. Hi. I fell in love with the train bookshelf that brought me to you. Would you have the design and dimensions to build it? Appreciate any help
