Dylan's 1st Trick or Treating

In preparation for Halloween I made 3 wall hangings.

Mine, the trial run:

Mimi and Papa's:
G-ma and G-pa's (G-ma's paint pen wasn't working and I didn't have time to fix it before we left PA, but it won't be hard for her to fix.)
On Saturday, our ward had a trunk or treat at the middle school. Dylan and Autrey were cute matching cowboys. Dylan's little sheriff pin has his name on it. His belt buckle and boots were awesome! (Courtesy of Tommy and G-ma) I was going to be a cowgirl, but I couldn't find a hat or boots that 1. looked right 2. fit right and 3. weren't really expensive. It was also really cold and I didn't want to wear my jean skirt with lily-white legs all goosebumpy, so I was lame and just wore an orange top and jeans. Terrible, I know. How cute is the stick horse rigged up to the bike to look like he's riding along?
A sucker, his favorite. Victory!

Dylan's 1st trick or treating experience last night on his faithful steed:

Yee haw!
A few cute videos...

#1: Showing off his catch phrases:

"Trick or Treat, pardner"

"Howdy little lady"

"I love you, horsey"

*Mildly inappropriate making out with the horse* :)

"Yee haw"

"Y'all have some candy?"

"Happy Halloween"

"Marshall Dylan"

#2: His 1st trick or treating experience at a house, at our neighbor's (Jacob and Jennifer West):

#3: Going through a mini haunted house:

#4: A little shy with some people a street over that decked out their yard:

Highlights of Dylan's night:

1. Some people brought their dogs with them trick or treating and he liked seeing them.

2. He saw a kid dressed up like Thomas the Train.

3. He got to eat 2 suckers in 1 day...WOW! He was so happy about it last night but today he totally forgot he has a pumpkin stuffed full of candy. Did I remind him? Nope. :)
