At the Parents as Teachers End of Year Celebration today each educator selected one child to receive a Shining Star award. Ms. Lori chose Robbie for "growth in his gross motor, fine motor, his speech and language...and he is always ALWAYS happy. I don't think I have ever seen him cry and he always has a smile on his face."
At 2 years old he has no clue what that certificate represents, but it sure means a lot to me. This year he has gone from only sitting in one spot to scooting and assisted walking, and from only making the "mama" sound to 3 and 4 word phrases. It took countless hours and the help of many educational and medical professionals to get him to this point. Thank you, Lori Leuty Hogue, for loving our happy boy and cheering him on every step of his unique journey! #Arthrogryposis #AMCstrong
